Date: August 25th, 2018
Time: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Mooney's Bay Park, 2960 Riverside Drive, Ottawa
Wild Pollinator Partners together with Faith & the Common Good will be giving a short talk at this event starting at 12:30.
Katherine Forster (Faith and the Common Good) will be talking about using native plants to help cool, shade, and buffer.
Sandy Garland (Fletcher Wildlife Garden) will provide some tips on how to have the kind of “messy” garden that pollinators and other wildlife thrive in, while making it look tidy for your neighbours – and wasting nothing in the process.
Please drop by and introduce yourself. We’d love to chat about the WPP network, learn what you are doing for wild pollinators, and find out how we can help.
See the Carbon Capture Day web site for event details.
