WPP is participating in Mission Monarch. As in previous years, we’ll be following up on the training workshop (July 27 at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden) with trips to the milkweed fields south of Ottawa International Airport to look for caterpillars and eggs.

Please meet at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden promptly at 1 pm. We’ll car pool to High Road, where we’ll spend about an hour and a half looking at milkweeds and tallying the Monarchs we find.

Anyone interested in pollinator surveys is also welcome to come along to see what bees, wasps, flower flies, and other pollinators can be found in a field of milkweeds.
