Date: July 29th, 2018
Time: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Fletcher Wildlife Garden and airport
Join the Fletcher Wildlife Garden to look for Monarch caterpillars and eggs in the milkweed fields south of the airport.
Meet at the FWG – see location – at 1:30 sharp. We’ll car pool to the airport, spend about an hour and a half looking for caterpillars and eggs on the hundreds of Common Milkweed plants in this area, then go back to the FWG to drink lemonade and tally our results.
Please dress appropriately and bring water to drink while surveying.
