Join OWSL to learn about native plant gardening and receive free native seeds!
Each fall, the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library hosts a series of native seed giveaways at locations across Ottawa. No donation required to get FREE seeds! Each seed packet has enough seeds for a minimum of 3-5 plants. Browse the seed catalogue before the event to see what is available; it is updated the Friday before each event, as well as the Sunday after an event.
Instructions for winter sowing are available on our website. We also have tutorials on how to harvest and winter sow seeds on our YouTube channel.
