A guided tour of The Corner Pollinator Garden
In 2018, Berit Erickson turned a patch of her front lawn into a pollinator garden. Since then, she’s been converting existing ornamental gardens into wildlife habitat. Her yard includes a short pollinator matrix garden, a layered shade garden, a backyard mini-meadow, hedgerows of native shrubs, and a stream water feature for birds. Dry conditions, the loss of Ash shade trees, and new rabbit residents are continuing challenges.
