Time: 13:00-16:00
Where: Fletcher Wildlife Garden

What can you do to help pollinators? Visit us today or on April 8 to find out how to make and maintain a bee box.

Make tunnels out of used typing paper for Mason Bees and Leafcutter Bees. Learn how to set up a wooden bee box and make sure it stays clean and usable for many years. Learn a bit about the bees you can expect to see in your garden and what they need from you.

Drop in any time between 1 and 4 pm. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and show you how to build a nest box for bees.

Some materials will be available for you to use. Bring your own block of wood (at least 6 inches deep) and use our drills to make holes. Bring your own bee box and use our parchment paper to line the tunnels for easy cleaning.
