Just a quick note to highlight the new pollinator gardens at Lisgar and Glebe collegiates. Emma Kirke spearheaded both projects by applying for grant money from TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, ordering plants from the Fletcher Wildlife Garden, then assembling a group of volunteers at each school to plant and maintain the gardens.
The Glebe garden was described in a recent community newspaper article by student volunteer, Isabel Watson.
